The car was purchased in 1997. 
August 1997: New floor pans welded in place. Patching of the transmission tunnel. 

The actual restoration did not begin until March 2000. As the restoration of the MGB started it was important to us to keep the car as original as possible. The 1969 MGB has the following features that are different from previous and subsequent years.
